Bo’ness HousingThe live/work scenario includes a communal building in the rowhouses with a pottery workshop. Pottery is part of Bo’ness’s heritage dating from the 18th century. There are no pottery workshops in Bo’ness, so there is an opportunity to create a new space to rebirth the antiquated practice of pottery in the town, which once was a big part of it. In the communal building there will be a kitchen and a laundry room allowing residents to cook in a communal space and do laundry reducing the carbon footprint of each unit and bringing down costs.
